4x4 Trail to Mount Reba

Search:

Very popular with Jeep clubs. Some high clearance obstacles you cannot go around. For true 4x4 vehicles only. Do not venture with the Suburban or Explorer. There is a well marked off road entrance to this trail about few hundred yards off Highway 4 on Hwy 207 or Mount Reba Road. This trail goes on for at least 3 miles to get Mt. Reba. The first time I took this trail on Nov 2005, I was not sure I got to the end of the trail, as the 4x4 trail seemed to go on from what I saw on the map as the end of this trail.
On Highway 4 going East from Bear Valley, take a left at the ski area road (think it's 207), go about two hundred yards, and look for this on the right side. Only street licensed vehicles. No green stickers apparently.

about 3 miles in, there is a fork in the trail. This is at the end of the right fork. A chained off road entrance is visible at bottom right. This road seemed to descend into a nearby valley.
