The Sheriffs Office says they'll close the subdivision roads when there is "one foot on the ground, and two more coming".
If there is a foot of snow on the roads with none expected for a week or two, they'll go ahead and plow on the theory that the snow will melt. Snowmobiling is a real pain when you've got half snow and half asphalt on the way down to town, eh?
